I went through the “PHP 5 Sockets with Flash 8 tutorial,” and changed the URL’s to correct addresses (I tried both ‘localhost’ and my local ip address) but I still get “Server connection failed!”. I have php5 and apache installed, although not from your server setup tutorial, I needed to download apache2triad (after trying about 5 other server setups to also no success), but I still think I have everything set up correctly in terms of addresses file names and what not. So what I was wondering is whether the server settings I’m using are not what they need to be. Is anyone familiar with the apache2triad default settings and could tell me whether that is the problem? Or is it not likely to be the problem at all. Thanks.
