i think that i learn how it work. but i can’t use this true.
my problem is step by step use sample files in Linux or windows.
i use this file in windows with my Localhost (XAMPP) but it doesn’t work true. i copy samples (download samples from [URL=“http://www.kirupa.com/developer/flash8/php5sockets_flash8_6.htm”]page 6 of tutorial or click [URL=“http://www.kirupa.com/developer/flash8/code/sockets.zip”]here) into my “www” directory on “localhost” and embed “socketsTut.swf” into “index.html” to use flash chat from my Mozilla Firefox Browser.
when i type “http://localhost/index.html” in Mozilla Firefox address bar flash chat appear but it can’t connect to socket and “Server connection failed!” will be appear in “socketsTut.swf”. i also try “socketTut.bat” on windows. i change content of “socketTut.bat” from “c:/web/php/php.exe -q c:/web/Apache2/htdocs/socketTut.php” to “C:/xampp/php/php.exe -q C:/xampp/htdocs/socketTut.php” and open it with command prompt in windows. it doesn’t appear any thing and just it go to new line in command prompt.
i will step by step help that how i can use samples file in Windows or Linux (Ubuntu).
I need Help …
