Pixel fonts

Hi i have an interface with a box in the middle displaying external fla’s. Anyway, i have used dynamic text (square font) and the quality is rubbish, i have tried everything. Now I need a pixel font, does anyone know if a pixel font will be able to be displayed in an external flash file and still be good quality, i know they are usually good quality but do they retain this quality when they are displayed as externals.

Also could anyone refer me to a good site that sells pixel fonts, and does anyone know a style similar to Square721BT, I don’t want to spent more than $30.

Any help would be appreciated!!

you will have to embed the font… when you do this it will bring the file size up, and i found that if you use this font for a preloader for example your preloader takes extra long to open, so people sit and stare at a blank screen for sometimes up to a minute waiting only for the preloader… careful with where you use the fonts

_sans, or _serif works quite well for preloaders because it will use the system fonts on the viewer’s computer…
