I’ve been using Kirupa’s platform game tutorial ( http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/platform_game.htm ) and now I have a fairly simple but functioning platform game, but I’m having trouble with creating a second and hopefully more levels.
I thought that by having frame 4 of my timeline with the same code and everything as my frame 3 (the game) will work, just change the layout of platforms and etc. but it doesn’t work.
I cannot load the 4th (2nd level) of the game by hitTest of the movieclip on first level, the score seems to get cleared and the actual frame doesn’t load, not sure why it’s not working the way it should.
I’m wondering if any of you could help me out. How can I make a functioning second level of my game on a new frame, using same code.
I have little knowledge of the code so please try to explain it as much as possible.
Any advice would be really helpful. :flower:
