Playing sound

If I register events to play one mp3 after another how “seamless” will the experience be? Will there be any lag or distortion or other sound artifacts? I would assume that once the swf is completely loaded into the browser, a decent computer could handle it. Anyone have more experience with this? I am thinking my strategy is to register events to play the next sound when some oncomplete event fires for some sound channel or something. Is this the way to go?
