i finished this page not too long ago. it is still ongoing work though.
The page does not have a preloader because every content on the page (except the 4 navigation buttons) is loaded dynamically from a xml file. Together with a simple flash template i managed to teach some of the involved people how to publish new content themselves. all they need is the name of the jpg they wanna show on a card, the title for the cards backside and the name of the swf file to be displayed.
Also tried for a different approach to navigation - there is not hierarchy but you can sort by topics with help of the buttons.
