Please help with javascript popup

well im making a webpage and loading the swf’s externally throught a mc in the main swf. on one of the pages im using the java chromless popup script, exactly liek the tutorial found here and when this page is loaded into the swf, for some reason, the popup action doesnt work. but when i open the swf by itself it works. any suggestions would be great thanks. let me know if im too vague.
