I have simple question about positioning.
If I have the movie dimensions set to say, the default 550px X 400px. How can I determine where the movie clip boundaries are for the main timeline stage when create a new symbol? When I create a movie clip symbol or any symbol there are no boundaries for where the top, bottom, left and right margins are for the main stage.
Do I need to drag out guides set to the stage dimensions or is there another way to show the boundaries of the main stage in the symbol editing mode? Am I missing something really simple here? Or have I answered my own question?
