New to Flash and using Flash 8/AS 2.
My first Flash project involves 2 animations each in it’s own HTML page and it works fine and my client is happy - except, as noted below. The first SWF is short, the 2nd much longer.
Therefore, the ‘getURL’ in the first SWF results in a 1-2 second pause, instead of an instant and smooth transition, between the 2 animations, the first time someone accesses them.
Can anyone recommend an ActioScript use or a source for a JavaScript the will preload the 2nd SWF in the background while the web visitor watches the 1st SWF?
