I have a main swf file which is 376 kb. I tried using the percentage preloader from kirupa and what happens is that when the user clicks the html, it launches a customised new window with the main swf. It displays a blank white wall for a few too long seconds, and then only the preloader appears, with 89% onwards. What does this mean as I have used this preloader before and it works fine with other files I’ve been working on. I also tried using other preloader methods and the same thing happens. Is it the layout of the layers or the size of the file? But I tried using the Kirupa percentage preloader for a 275 kb file and it works fine. I’m at my wits end!
