Preloader problem ~ with a twist!

Ok, first off ~ great forum, some really useful stuff goin on in here!

Now my preloader problem.
I’ve tried to do a preloader with a difference…similar to the one found here:
http://www.cwd.dk/article.asp?articleid=98

I think my problem lies with the fact that that tutorial is written for flash 5 ~ not MX. But I thought it should still work either way and gave it a go…turns out it doesn’t work and I was left with a strobe effect on the preloader…it flickered on the page and didnt look like it was filling.

I’ve attached the file which has the animation on it that I want.
I have searched this forum and many others and I cant seem to find the answer. All I want to happen is that the box fills according to the percentage loaded ~ i.e. when the box appears to be full the movie is 100% loaded…the only thing I can do is get the box filling up animation to loop until the movie is loaded which is not the effect I want.

Any advice appreciated people!
Cheers!

Stringy!
Thanks matey!

At least now I can go and figure out how you did it.
Very much appreciated.

p.s. I took the AS out so it wasn’t a complete mess ~ just left the animation in.

Cheers fellas!
