Hi,
I’ve somewhat managed to make my preloader work, but it still hangs frequently. My cursor becomes a text cursor when I put my mouse over the loading text area, and when I click on it, the numbers loaded shifts over to the left and right. A blank screen hangs even before the preloader starts and the preloader goes on for quite a while even though the % loader doesn’t reach 100%. Also after the main scene is reached, the main part of the movie doesn’t play until after a while as well. Could it be because my fla file size is 2,112KB (my swf is 450KB)?
I only have one scene but the main part of the movie is a movie clip which has about 270 frames and includes a lot of tweening, etc. Could this also be a reason why my movie hangs at this point? Any suggestions as to how to make my movie play somewhat fluidly would be greatly appreciated.
