Preloaders

i need a little help with some preloader problems.

i have created a movie video of 106 .PNG’s that takes waaaaay to long to load. is there any way of using multiple preloaders that will load sections simultainously?

does anyone have any other suggestions for decreasing load time? (other than the obvious scrapping of the movie?)

you could get software like adobe premeir or some other movie software and actually make the .png series into an actual movie format like avi or mpeg.

and in order for you to preload differenct sections of the movie you would have to break the movie into different movies.

or you can stream it. if it’s a seperate file. but i think making it into an actual avi or mpeg is the best idea b/c all movies are just a series of images and those formats are specially thought out compression schemes to make the series of images smaller in file size. smart people like lostinbeta do cool stuff like that for us :crazy:

Have you optimized the png’s via your library?
You could probably cut the file size in half that way.
