Hi I am a newbie and been through the tutorials here and all over the net and cannot seem to find one (either using the component progress bar or building my own) which will work with my swf file. I do not want buttons that start the swf rolling. I simply want to go to a web browser open a page, see a loading bar and have my swf file start playing.
I am working in Flash Studio 8 on a MAC OS 10.3
Here on some tests I have tried to put on line:

this taking too long with a blank screen so I tried to put in a preloader progress bar but all I get is a progress bar at 0%
Please help, I need a step by step tutorial which has no buttons and simply deals with loading one movie with a clickable enter button.
