Hi all, I’m a bit stuck with pre-loading an external swf, I know this is a common one but I’ve tried following some of the tutorials (http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/percentagepreloader.htm & http://www.kirupa.com/developer/actionscript/moviecliploader.htm) and I still can’t seem to get it right. I’ve got an online portfolio at www.reannaeddy.co.uk and 2 of my sections load external swf’s one of which (ISTD section) takes forever to fully load so I want to add a preloader. The nav buttons goto different frame labels and then call the exernal swf into an empty MC. Is there any way to have the button going to the frame label and then the preloader start up rather than the button telling the preloader to start??
I really appreciate any help! AS isn’t my strong point!!!
