Problem with ._x and ._y :S

hi. i have a problem that occurs in the game im trying to create.
basically, when the characters health reaches 0, a MC that was previously visible = 0 becomes visible = 1 (and so is visible).
nested inside that mc is a button, that when pressed, should restart the game (take the playhead back to the frame named “gamestart”.

this works fine, but when it does go back to “gamestart”, everything on the stage in every frame moves down the screen by a very noticeable amount of pixels!

i find this strange, because i havent set any variables or ANYTHING to do with everything moving down pixels.
