Problem with Flash MX

hello, someone could help me !!!

I have made a form with flash MX where a user can enter
his personnal information like name, adresse , etc for ordering
something. This form is in french, I use a combo box to select wich article he wants. When the informations are done, he push a button who call a php script who return me a mail with the informations. My problem, is when I enter accent in french language like “é”, “à” etc… I receive some bad caracters in my mail, why? I have tried to export my movie in flash 5 and it works perfect ! But I can’t use flash 5 version becose I user some combo box on my forms and they doesn’t works in this version.

Here is a example :

Nom & Prenom : Frédéric Barnabé
Adresse : Rue Grange-Lévrier 28

i may be talking some bull****, but did you try do system.useCodePage = true;
script in the frame1 or the frame you have this form script?

btw, for future reference, it’s a good idea to put the subject of the thread in the title instead of just “Problem with flash mx”. that’s all pretty obvious, your posting in this area because your using flash mx, and you have a problem because your posting here. i don’t mean to be mean
