Problem with movie clips containing buttons

Hi,

Im trying to set up a roll over/roll off menu. Basically it’s a movie clip on the main stage, with buttons inside the movie clip.

However when I set actions to the buttons inside the movie clip to go to a frame or label in the main timeline it doesnt work.

Any ideas?

umm this is kind of cheap but you could put the rool over MC on the over part of the button and just keep the button on the main time line i remember i did that when i just got flash well
