Problem with my flash site, help?

Hey all,

I’m making a flash site, which loads swf’s into a movie clip. Now, I’ve got that working without any hitches. The only problem is with my news page.

http://www.se-miserious.com/test/news.html (This displays news.swf, which is the file being loaded into the movie clip)

Now, this is news.swf being loaded into my main design:

You see how the text background loads up, but the txt box and scrollers are not displayed?

Can anyone help?

Are you sharing components, or are you using two of the same components but from different swf files?

Did you export the text fonts for the news?

I’m not entirely sure what you mean by the whole sharing components thing…and no I didn’t text fonts for the news because it’s Verdana, which is a default font. But exporting the font surely wouldn’t make a difference if it works fine on news.html…?

It’s just that I had a similar problem to yours while I was designing my site, but I was using shared fonts. However it doesn’t apply to your case.

Don’t worry about the share component I don’t think you used it by the looks of things.

I’m lost as well :-/
