Hi. I’m new to both this forum and Flash. Up to this point, I’ve only ever drawn pictures in Flash, but I agreed to make a website for a club, and now I’m starting to feel overwhelmed.
I’ve been following the tutorial on kirupa.com for Flash MX but I have Flash MX 2004. I haven’t encountered a problem yet, though, so I’m hoping everything will work out okay.
My most current problem is my set of navigation buttons. When I click one, it goes to the page I’m looking for, but then the whole group of buttons just disappears so you can’t leave the current page anymore. I can’t figure out what I did wrong.
I guess I should explain what my site looks like.

The thing in at the bottom right is my navigation. Text shows up in the middle. That’s the thing that disappears. When you click something, the large box of text to the left of it is supposed to show up. That does show up, but I think it may be covering my navigation thing. Is there a way to make the textbox background transparent?

(Btw, I may have to come back here with more problems later. I already have php problems confusing me, but I hope to figure that out myself later.)
