Hi,
I have a problem with the x and y coordinates of the canvas.When i first started using the software, when i place an object on the canvas and set the x and y coordinates of the object to ‘0’ and ‘0’ respectively,the object would align itself perfectly to the top of the canvas and to the left of the canvas thus maintaining it’s integrity.
After i have worked for quite a good time on Flash 8, now i noticed that when I put an object on the canvas and try to set the x and y coordinates to '0' and '0' respectively,the object is moving way beyond the canvas position farther to the left on the stage.It's coordinate system is messed up.Now if I align the object manually to the top of the canvas and to the left of it,the x and y coordinates of the object show up as "387.3" and "6.0" respectively. So that's why I have great problem with aligning the objects now. So can anyone help me deal with this probelm? I haven't saved my default user profile.So i dont know what to do.
