I have been trying to align my “leaves” in my flash document to the corners (top and left). I can’t for the life of me move it to the top. Can someone please take a look and see what I am doing wrong and give me some advice (Here is a link to the file, I think it was too big to attach I kept on getting an error). Thanks, I really appreciate it!
nice, thanks bataglia. I didn’t even think about doing a ctrl+a. I just tried moving it with my pointer / mouse and it wouldn’t let me. But that worked like a charm. Thanks!
Select the object you want to relocate to the top of the stage.
In the Property Inspector there are slots to enter where you want the object to be in terms of its x and y positions. If you put a zero (0) in the y coordinates and hit enter it will automatically move it to the top of the stage/screen. (If you also enter a zero in the x spot it will move it to the upper left hand corner. There is like an unseen grid on your Flash stage starting from a 0,0 position in the upper left hand corner. The x coordinates increase from left to right. The y coordinates increase from top to bottom.)

You are correct. I should have looked at the registration point.
small_guy, you are right, but if you check his example, the registration point is not set on 0 0, so this with x:0 and y:0 is false in his case :)
