Problems using <img> tag in textArea

[COLOR=#222222][COLOR=#222222][COLOR=#222222]Hello ,
I making a chat application and I try to insert smiley images.The problem is when someone send a smiley,the image is always in a new line.I tried to resize the image but the result is the same.

output_txt.htmlText=“abc <img src=‘smile/smile02.jpg’ /> cba”;
