Let me try and explain myself better.
My home page is laid out exactly as I want the rest of my pages to be laid out. I have made a page with one main table consisting of three cells. The top cell goes from one side of the screen to the other. It holds the graphic or company logo and some animated gif files. The other two cells split the botton of the page unevenly. On the left, I have placed the buttons that link to my other pages. On the right, I have placed all of my content for the site. On all other pages I plan on having pictures of my merchandise that have been thumbnailed. The pictures when clicked will lead to descriptions of that item and paypal ordering information. (I could use some advice about this also. Where do I paste the html that paypal has given me and how do I thumbnail the pictures so that it pulls up the ordering information?) I need to know how to get consistant spacing and sizing of the table and it’s cells on each and every page.
Also, as you can tell, this is my first site. I don’t want to slop up a site real quick so I am trying to take the time to do it right. My plans are to put up this site first that doesn’t have Frames or Flash and later on as I learn more from your site, I would like to set up an alternative site people can go to that does have Frames and Flash. You know how some people are about Frames and bell and whistles. (don’t know why they are so dead set against progress) Can you suggest a way for me to set my site up now, before I load it on the net, so that I have an opening page that would alow them to go to the Frames or Frameless site?
Peace
