Processor for a barebone

Hello all. Just a quick question, looking for opinions. I am in the process of building my second barebone, except this one is for me. I do a lot of different things on my machine now, mostly development and graphical design, but I do dabble in just about anything else that comes accross my path. Anyway I want to know what type of dual-core processor and video card to get that will not just function together beautifully, but won’t break my pocket. I can find processor’s I just am not up to speed on hardware specs as much as I thought I was when trying to settle on a decision. Thanks!
