hello folks, i am a newbie when it comes to streaming media. what are the pros and cons of using flv? My client has an 8min avi they want to stream. Is flv a good option? FLV’s are great for cross platform non-codec specific media. Basically if anyone has Flash Player installed they can watch your video. However I am finding that FLV files perform terribly on slower computers (sub 800 mhz) and are very tricky to get an export that is in sync. That is why I am on this board, to find answers to these 2 paramount questions.
