Hi all,
I have a .fla that the marketing team opens up, changes three actionscript variables (a url, title etc.) and publishes. They do this a lot and were wondering if there’s a way to take the new variable information from an xml file or something at publish time (like a script?) without having to open up the Flash IDE.
I would usually include the xml information in a separate file, but the .swf files are being uploaded to a third-party site, so everything must be self-contained. There is no way to add the variable information to the third party site.
Any help/links would be appreciated. Google did not help me.
