Publishing issues

Hello there,

I designed my site using flash and used dreamweaver to upload it to the web. The problem I am having is that on my 17" monitor it looks great, but if the page is viewed on a smaller monitor, like 15", the text is barely readable. Does anyone know if there is a way to publish my site, so that is will good, no matter what size monitor someone is viewing my site with? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

hi Soig,

I kind of new to flash. So I’m learning as I go. Basically when I publish my file, I have it set up as :-dimensions are set to “percent” (100x100)
-Quality is set to “best”
-window is set to “window”
-html allignment is set to “default”
-scale is set to “no border”
-flash allignment is “center”

My screen resolution is set to 1024x768. I’ve heard that a lot of people use 800x600 as the standard. Basically, what I’m not sure about is, what settings should I be using to publish the flash file to make the site look good on smaller monitors? I hope this makes it more clear, thanks for your help.

Maybe you can try setting your scale to: “No Scale”

That will keep your movie centered (or depending on your alignment) without resizing.
