ive never really understood this.
i want to use a custom font. so i embed it. the way i’ve always done it though was for every single text field that i have, i have to goto the properties and manually embed the font into it.
but by doing that, am i embedding the same font over and over and over again? or is flash smart, and only embeds it once?
ive also read about font symbols, and tried using them, but it never works. for instance, i create a font symbol, lets call the font BlahX, and i give it the name “embedX”.
i goto the text field, and set the font to embedX*, but when i publish it and view it on another system, the font is just times new roman. so what gives? apparently font symbols dont mean “embedded font” , so what the heck is the point of it?
