Hi there. I’m planning on using kirupa’s Falling Snow 2.0 code in my film, which I’m making with Flash MX (so that would be ActionScript 1.0).
I tested it out and it looks very nice, however, I would like to know how to control that directional wind effect that comes when you move your mouse over the image, but have it be independent of any mouse movement. So basically, I’d like for the snow flakes to move from left to right, or from right to left, and control the speed of the wind, within the actual film. I don’t want there to be any mouseover effect.
I’m a complete ActionScript newcomer; I did understand the explanation of the various fields in the tutorial, but I couldn’t figure out how to make it do what I require. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
