I’m struggling to understand the overall ebb and flow of the Flash timeline. My goal is to create a flash website that consists of about 5 different pages. Each page will be animated with flash. My mental block has to do with making this happen using the timeline.
Is there a way to designate spots along the timeline that prevent your movie from looping back to the beginning? I ask because I’m confused as to how to make buttons fuction correctly. For example, the first Flash movie I exported simply loops over and over and over. My ultimate goal is to have several navigation buttons on my website that direct the viewer to different animations of content.
How can I make a flash movie clip play all the way through and then just stop at the end rather than looping?
How can I direct a button to navigate to a new animation?
