One of my friends accidentally forgot to convert his paper from Open Office format to MS Office format, and now at school there’s no way to do it with these locked down computers. Can someone please convert this to a .doc for us real quick?

I dont have openoffice. so I cant open it.

Can you convert it to .txt, .rtf, .pdf?

Then I can plop it into MS word for you.

I can’t even open it from here. We have MS Word on the school computers, I tried opening it on there, but it just came out as a bunch of jibberish. Thanks though.

OpenOffice format is fairly simple, it’s zipped XML :slight_smile:

not proprietrary like M$ Word… then there’d be no way to get the content.
