this is probably flash 101. i want to add a preloader to my movie…i didn’t think of it until i was a little ways into it…how do i move all of my layers one frame forward on my timeline?

It’s very simple!
Press and hold you mouse btn on frame1 of the topmost layer of your timeline, then drag your mouse onto the last frame of the bottom-most layer of your timeline(or even further so all the frames on all the layers are selected), then release the mousebutton, now all the frames are selected! Now press on the first keyframe of any layer and drag it onto the next frame!
Voila!
