Ok, so since this problem has nothing to do with any actual Flash programs, I’m posting it here.
My dad has a 700mb quicktime file and he’s got a client in australia who needs that file in a .swf format so they can chuck it onto their intraweb.
This isn’t something I know much about… and I’ve googled my brains out for some kind of program/plugin but they’re all sub par/nothing I would want to deal with…
My dad’s got quicktime pro which can export to .flv, but he isn’t flash savvy enough to import it into flash and export that .flv into a .swf.
Also, don’t you have to have flash installed on your machine to access the “Export to .flv” option in quicktime pro?
Any thoughts or verbal abuse is appreciated and looked forward to.
Thanks!
