With all the different types of RAM, do you have to get an exactly specific type of RAM which suits your motherboard? All those different types have always confused me.
Can you just stick any type of RAM into any motherboard? Or do you have to specifically get, for example, PC3200 RAM if that’s what your mobo supports?
Looking around at prices, PC3200 DDR400 seems to be the norm nowadays… will this RAM work in pretty-much any (new) motherboard I could buy?
