Quick SLI question

I just realisedā€¦ perhaps I could get SLI on my new rig :smiley:
If I got this mobo:

Would it:

  1. work?
  2. be worth it?

And would I have to buy anything else? It says you only use the little ā€˜SLI connectorā€™ thing with 6600GTā€™s and aboveā€¦
