Hey everyone!
I just bought 2x 512MB DDR400 RAM for my pc today (upgrading from 2x 256 DDR333 RAM). However I have the ASUS A7V8X MB which only has 3 Memory slots. It can only support 1x DDR400 stick, 2x DDR333 or 3x DDR266.
Currently i’m running the 2x 512 DDR at 333MHz which is fine but I was wondering whether I should down clock to 266MHz so I can add one of the old 256MB RAM…
Does anyone know which would be the better option?
