Ray of light animation

i went through the tutorial in flash 5 special effect section, the ray of light animation, i didn’t quite understand the tutorial, and there is no fla file provided to refer to, so i wonder anyone can help…either providing the fla file or suggest another tutorial about ray of light.

so far this is the best tutorial about ray of light, as another site i found they made it only 1 page…but it’s not comprehensive at all,

kirupa still the best, but where is the fla for this tutorial???
