I am making something where members of a club can login and check for messages left by their committee chair members. Currently, I have it where the committee chairs have to edit their notes through Flash themself, send me the swf, and do a loadMovie kinda thing. The unfortunate part is that these chairpersons do not really know Flash…what a surprise… :puzzle:
What I would like to do is like a Message Center type thing. They click Message Center, login, and it sends the message to some sort of database or something. Then when the person the message was sent to logs in, it alerts them of new messages, they go to the message center, and there is a list of the messages sent to them. Then they click on one of the messages and the message appears in a textbox, combobox, listbox, scrollpane, or whatever…
Can this be done??? If so, can someone plz write a tutorial or something of a sort on how to do this??
