Really old game=Stupid

So I have this old game. (Riven)

I installed it and everything, but when I try to play it, it says I don’t have QuickTime. I just happen to have the newest release of QuickTime Pro, so I’m thinking that it is too new to work with a 7 year old game. How can I fix ths?

uninstall quicktime and get an older version :sure:

I think I’m just going to go and buy the DVD edition that has Myst™, Riven™, and Myst III:Exile™ on it, because I can’t seem to be able to run the original Myst™ either.

I had the same problem kril, what I did was uninstall new drivers (QT), reinstall old drivers, and run the riven exe in win98 compatibility mode :slight_smile:

fixed it right up…

Meh, I just went out and bought the Anniversary collection thing… This way I don’t have to swap CD’s in and out. (Riven has 5 CD’s, so that really impede’s gameplay)
