i was playing about trying to make a really relaxing wallpaper…
this is what i came up with… nothing special but i think it does the trick.

okay that doesent work… never mind…
il try i somewhere else becuase it is too large to upload
ive tried and i cant do it…
i only have free webspace it is doesnt allow remote linking… and stuff… the images file size is also too big to attach to the forums…
never mind, one day when i get round to purchasing my own space i will post them on there…
but if any of you have relaxing wallpapers that you have made then please post them
Ok here is what you should do…:
Since the file is already on geocities, go to your file manager. Find the file. Place a check in the box next to it and scroll to the top or bottom and select rename. Now give the pic the same name, but end with a .txt (eg desktop.txt or santashotrudolph.txt). Even this is really a picture file, you can rename it to a .txt and then link to it from other sites.
Here look, I did this purley as I explained above:
http://www.geocities.com/h4xx02/back2copy.txt
Do the .txt and we can see your pic
BTW the thing is a link, because I did not want to take up a ton of space with my 1024x768. Trust me it works to have it show up as a html scr.
star you like Radiohead? awsome band those guys are. yeah a reaname to .txt will do the trick!
Another way to view it, without changing the name is to simply drag the link to your address/location bar. No more remote linking…voila.
i love radiohead, they are my fave band…
and thanks for the advice…
il do it when i get home or if i get chance later il do it here…
very nice! Karma Police is my fav song from RH. Listen to Phis and the Dead…best bands on earth…:goatee:
mine is (at the moment) national anthem… off the kid A album… although OK Computer is still my fave album
i do like a good bit of radiohead…
anyway
Um, with the .txt you can make the picture show up on the thread…
Here, like this:
So, how did you make that?
i used a digital photo i took a while ago of a ripple (in water) and used my tablet (wacom) and did some smudging, the messed with the colour/hue saturation levels and the alpha///
thats about it
