Return of the Mystery Lines

i posted about this a while back but now that i have a little bit of time i want to see if there are any new ideas about this…i would like to know why those lines appear after the tweens?

thanks to xxviii for hosting it

Why don’t you post the FLA instead so we can have a better look? =)

that would probably mean xxviii would have to host the .fla right? there’s no other way of making it acessible to kirupaforum members?

well you can put it on the forum? or is it too big? how bout zipping it?

ok here’s my attempt at attaching it…

hmm anyone? it’s been a few days now since i posted this…

sorry, i couldnt’ find any problems with it :-\

hmm well do you think I should just try from scratch?

would that get rid of the problem or am i just wasting time if i try that? :q:

Hi,
Do you mean the orange horizontal lines that stay after your animation has played ?
Bizarre - I can’ t see where they are coming from, they are not on your timeline at all. So, sorry to say I have no idea, if you make the whole thing again, try making your graphic symbols movies clips instead - don’t know if that will fix the problem, but worth a try.
btw - I think those lines look part of the animation and give it a bit of depth.

Cheers

If you really don’t like them then you should remake them. But in my opinion, i think they look pretty nice, they don’t really ruin it at all

thanks for looking for problems and thanks for the advice as well. i understand how you think they should stay (ill prob keep them now  ) but i’ll fix them up a bit…actually make them animate rather than depend on them to mysteriously appear from nowhere!!

anyway…problem solved

:beam:

you could paste over them with blocks the same color as the background, nobody would ever know :bad:

haha very true!! only you and the rest of everyone who has viewed this thread would know though …maybe that should be included in a list titled “Design Secrets the Pros never reveal!!” i’m sure many of you so called “pros” do what ragewolf mentioned…haha :trout:
