I’ve recorded and reversed sounds myself!
You know in Estonian we have a sentence, “Aias sadas saia”. No matter which way you say it, it will always mean and sound the same! [ It means “there was white-bread raining in the garden” ]
hum… the ones I listened earlier sucked!
Some of them do seem to have some kind of message inside them! 
especially the one “Its an honour”
I think its neto (esp the Kennedy one)… but pretty much bull, fun to check out though.

Maybe I’ll download some untouched sound bytes and check it with my audio proggies… IMHO it is amazing what you can hear, see, find when you are looking for anything - know what I mean?

This is approx the first min of MLK’s “I have a dream” speech - it has obviously been reversed, and slowed down to a speed of 90%… I listened to it a few times, but didnt dear anything… you find anything Phil??

I know, I just did one because I found the slower ones on the site to be most effective… maybe I’ll slow it down even more… I’ll post in a bit - BTW ITS FRIDAY!!! yeah!

also… when played at 100% backwards you definitly couldnt hear anything… although I am sure if I spoke german I could pick up some stuff

im a big skeptic when it comes to this stuff…
one thing, there isnt enough research and scientific evidence to back up these claims.
Secondly, people will hear what they want to hear. THAT is proven.
There was a myth that Queen recorded “Another one bites the dust” with a hidden message. If you play it backwards its supposivly says “Smoke Marijauana”…
So i tested it out. I cleaned up the audio, i revesed the song, and it says Garbled stuff (kinda like if you reverse any speach) I think you hear what you want to hear and its a coincidence that words sound simular to other words played backwards.
I also dont like this because some people claim it makes them do things, such as murder, or anything. Thats BULL! everyone does something because they have some motive or some problem, and i dont believe songs make you do anything.
I am a skeptic.

im sketpical because i dont believe everything i read. besides being skeptical means i have an open mind, i dont take everything at face value.

yea i did listen to a few of them, but as i entertain the thought, i still believe that people will hear what they want to hear, and that is where the subconscious mind comes into play. I just need to see more proof, and duplicated several times before i can consider it as fact. Thats how science works and what i think =)
I think its an interesting subject though.
As for phil saying “I shouldnt be so quick to be skeptical” i think I SHOULD then if its proven otherwise then go with it…
Skeptisim is a way to filter out the bogus and fraudulant things , and if you do into a theory as a skeptic, you’re not qucik to make wrong assumptions.
