Hii,

Singapore Rental Listings

I would like to invite the fellow individuals here to review this site(which is still under development), but soon am gonna release it with a new domain name. This will be targeted to Singapore community first.

Here are a few points:

  • it didn’t need to be Flash, you could have pulled off the same thing with ease via PHP and AJAX (this would also help deter the issue I just had where my browser required me to download and install Flash Player 9)

  • There’s not styling yet, is there? I recommend browsing cssmania.com or csselite.com to get some design ideas, at least in terms of navigation design and implementation

  • Why Singapore?

  • If it’s targeting Singapore, you should consider localizing the design.

I agree. The problem of using flash for an app like this is that it’s very hard to replicate the exact feel and response of the native operating system resulting in an application that doesn’t feel quite right. Maybe clicking isn’t responsive enough, or certain interactions don’t work in the ways you expect.
