Rockstar Design volunteer needed for non-profit 'ToCure.org'

I’m in the process of starting a web-based non-profit to be used specifically for collecting funding and donations for other non-profits actively engaged in treating (and finding cures for) life-altering illnesses (non-specific). Potentially (still ironing details), the service may be expanded for use in collecting treatment funding for low-income individuals and families who suffer from these diseases. In this case, funding would be raised on a per-family basis to help cover the cost of food, medical bills, utility bills, etc.

I will be developing the back-end of the website. However, I need a rock star designer who’s willing to volunteer time and your design skill-set. The overall site will be very simple, consisting of three sections: A form for collecting information, An informational catalog/repository with material relating to each disease, and a blog. We will also need a newsletter template designed matching the theme of the website for sending updates and current collection numbers. Also, depending on your availability and expertise, we may need business cards / mini-cards / fliers / banner ads / etc. to aid in the marketing of the website.

PSDs will be a must, but I’m pretty skilled in xHTML/CSS/JS myself, so that may not be a requirement. If you’re an amazing designer, but don’t hold that skill-set, feel free to apply anyway.

As a note, we’re in the processes of registering as a non-profit in the state of Washington (USA). I’m new to this non-profit thing and I haven’t checked into details, but this may apply some sort of tax benefit for you if you normally charge for your services. If this is something that interests you, and you do work for us, I can look into it and provide any information/resources I find.

If you’re interested, please PM me with an email address and links to previous work. After review, we’ll talk details.

If you have another skill-set that you feel you may be able to volunteer, feel free to respond as well.

Thank you so much!
