Rollover and div appears

I have a css question… it might be simple and it’s just slipping my mind or maybe i need javascript

I have a bunch of images and when you rollover them i want a div to appear beside them with some information

I was wondering if I can do this with css or i need javascript

look up CSS tooltips or something,

this will create a floating div beside the cursor, but you could easily modify the CSS which positions the tool tip to appear beside the images as opposed to floating on top.
