Rollover problem

I am completely new to flash and I am having trouble creating a movie clip rollover button. I have created a button which expands on the rollover, and contracts on the rollout. It works fine, but if I scroll over it too fast or too many times it seems to get stuck in the over state. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
