Does anyone know a program which will rotate lots of images 90 degrees? I know that in fireworks and photoshop they have batch processes, but these don’t have a rotate feature. Thanks
batch processes can do anything that you can in filter; all you have to do is record an action (in your case, open a canvas, start recording, use the ‘rotate canvas 90 CW/CCW’ action" stop recording…
Now batch a directory of images using that action…
(i usually add a ‘save as’ step in my action because somehow it’s pretty jitty to work with save option of the batch…)
sounds cool mlk, but how would you start/end recording etc? You’re referring to Fireworks not photoshop right? :puzzled:
He is referring to photoshop. Open up your actions pallete. Window/ Actions (or Alt+F9) at the bottom of this window you will see the stop, record and play buttons there.
I highly reccomend this program. It’s shareware so you get a small nag, but you don’t HAVE to buy it if you don’t have the cash.

You can highlight all the pictures you want to effect and right click for a nice little shell menu. You can also do converting and resizing all in the windows shell!
actions is the way to go…and the fastest
cool, thanks everyone. I’ll be sure to try em out
After reading APDesign’s link, i figured you don’t need any program to rotate the images. Windows XP already has this built in
heh, I think it’s only if you have the “XP PowerTools”
