I published a flash site for player 7 but for some bizarre reason it displays incorrectly ONLY on safari on the mac with the latest OS and player 8. Its fine on all other platform/browser combos I have tried including on safari on the mac with the latest OS and player 7 and on an older version of OS X but with player 8 installed in safari.
The problem is that motion tweens of images - from an alpha ste of 1% to 100% - show nothing … and then the image, i.e. from 0% to 100% in whatever timeframe it is set in in the movie.
Has anyone got any ideas as to how to resolve it other than publishing it for player 8? The client’s market is not very web-savvy and would not be especially likely to have the latest player installed. Many Thanks!
