Hi. Im using Flash MX 2004 Pro on a Mac.
Ive looked at the Kirupa tutorial on scrolling dynamic text boxes (http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/dynamic_scroller.htm) but i cant get it working when i try it myself. When i download the fla from the tutorial and publish it it works, but when i try it myself from scratch i get this warning message…

loadText = new loadVars();

The only difference i can see between the files is to do with the scrollbar component. It looks different and the downloaded fla seems to have one which is much more complicated. Ive never used components before so im wondering if im doing it wrong but i cant see how. Or is it a difference between Flash MX and Flash MX 2004?
